This week, the podcast goes on hiatus while Chief Couch Potato Kylie addresses some medical needs. Hey, podcasters need sick leave too! Because we have other TV to watch and because it’s too hard to edit while on heavy medication (those wavy lines get so blurry), we offer a rerun of this episode, originally published in 2016.  We do so because our Downton Abbey panel will soon be reuniting – four years after this, their final recording – to discuss the special Downton Abbey reunion movie, which was released to cinemas in fall 2019. Stay tuned for the details via our social media, as it is coming up this summer! When we resume new episodes next week, our 13 Reasons Why panel will return to the Water Cooler, but the return will not be as triumphant as in the previous episode, as the panel provides thirteen reasons why they want to jump the shark. Following that, our iZombie panel returns to the Water Cooler a final time to talk the final Season 5 and to Look Back at the show as a whole, now that all is said and done. Stay tuned for all!

—Original Synopsis—

A new episode of Couch Potatoes Unite!, which is based on a blog of the same name hosted at couchpotatoesunite.wordpress.com. In this episode, recorded in May 2016, our panel of Downton Abbey enthusiasts – including moderator Kylie, Kristen L, Krista, Stacey, Spencer, and Kristin T – gathered together one final time around the tea table for a deep-dive discussion in which we were Looking Back at all six seasons (which aired from 2010 to 2016 on PBS) of the beloved English drama, in the second part of a two-part miniseries in which CPU! says goodbye to Downton. If you have not watched any of Downton, be aware that there are MAJOR SPOILERS! Tell us what you think, and/or if there are other shows you’re interested in CPU! covering, below; email us at: couchpotatoesunitepodcast@gmail.com; or check out our Guestbook at the website, our Facebook page, our Twitter (@cpupodcast), or our Instagram (@couchpotatoesunite).
